Education

Farzaneh Farzin, MD, received her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland and her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine formerly known as MCP Hahnemann University , where she also completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in radiation oncology. During her residency, she served as chief resident.

Areas of Special Interest

Treats all cancers with a special interest in breast cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, stereotactic radiosurgery and radioisotope treatment.

Experience

Dr. Farzin is a radiation oncologist at Comprehensive Cancer Centers. She has served as Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at Touro University Nevada and University of Nevada School of Medicine, where she actively educated and trained medical students who are performing radiation oncology rotations. Dr. Farzin also serves as Clinical Associate Professor at UNLV School of Medicine. She is an active member of The US Oncology Network. Prior to joining Comprehensive Centers in 2000 she was the Assistant Professor at the department of radiation oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine, formerly known as MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine.

Dr. Farzin has been recognized as Medical Marvel by Nevada Business Magazine and Top Doctor by VEGAS INC Health Care Quarterly, Desert Companion and Vegas Seven magazine for several years. She has also been recognized among America’s Most Honored Professionals by The American Registry as well as Castle Connolly’s Regional Top Doctor and Exceptional Women in Medicine. Dr. Farzin is fluent in Farsi.
